3 PHILIPP SCHUSTER LÄSST URLAUBSTRÄUME WAHR WERDEN... Für Philipp Schuster, unseren Vertriebskollegen aus Erfurt, ist Reisen weit mehr als nur Urlaub – es ist seine Leidenschaft, die ihn immer wieder zu neuen Zielen führt. Besonders fasziniert ihn das Entdecken fremder Kulturen und die kleinen Details, die den Alltag vor Ort ausmachen. „Das Erste, was wir in einem neuen Land machen, ist in den Supermarkt zu gehen und zu schauen, was es dort gibt, was wir bei uns nicht kennen“, erzählt er. Souvenirs spielen für ihn kaum noch eine Rolle, da sie doch meistens nur verstauben. Stattdessen bringt er lieber besondere Lebensmittel und Snacks mit nach Hause. Seine Begeisterung für das Reisen auf dem Wasser macht ihn zum echten „AIDA-Freak“. Auf Kreuzfahrten kann man in kurzer Zeit viele Orte kennenlernen und bei Interesse einzelne Ziele intensiver erkunden. „Man hat immer ein gutes Hotel mit an Bord und weiß genau, worauf man sich einlässt“, erklärt er. Zu seinen schönsten Reisen zählt er seine Hochzeitsreise: Fünf Tage New York und zwei Wochen AIDA entlang der US-Ostküste – ein unvergessliches Erlebnis trotz eines Hurricane-Ausläufers, der die Route kurzfristig änderte. Philipp Schuster hat neben seiner Tätigkeit bei ISGUS sein Hobby zur Nebentätigkeit entwickelt: Er bietet eine mobile Reiseberatung an. „Ich habe schon lange für Freunde Reisen organisiert und dachte mir, mit meinem „Vertriebler-Gen“ kann ich das auch für mehr Menschen machen“, sagt er. PHILIPP SCHUSTER MAKES HOLIDAY DREAMS COME TRUE... For Philipp Schuster, our sales colleague from Erfurt, travelling is an experience that goes beyond a simple break from the daily routine – it’s a passion that constantly leads him to the discovery of new destinations. He is fascinated by discovering new cultural traditions and the small details that make up everyday life in foreign places. “The first thing we do in a new country is visit a local supermarket and see what is available there that we don’t know at home”, he says. For him, typical souvenirs hardly play a role anymore, as they usually end up collecting dust on a shelf. Instead, he prefers to bring home local food and snacks. His enthusiasm for travelling on water makes him a real “AIDA freak”. Cruises allow you to visit multiple interesting locations and places in a single trip and, if your are interested, you can explore individual destinations more in depth. “You always have a good hotel on board and know exactly what you’re getting into”, he explains. One of his most memorable trips was his honeymoon: five days in New York followed by a two-week cruise with AIDA along the US East Coast – an unforgettable experience despite a hurricane’s tail that forced the cruise line to change the itinerary at short notice. In addition to his work at ISGUS, he turned his hobby into a side job: he offers mobile travel consulting services. “I have been organising trips for friends and thought with my “sales gene”, I could do this for more people”, he says. Mit elf Mitarbeitenden ist das Team überschaubar, aber bestens aufgestellt: Sieben Techniker kümmern sich um die technische Betreuung, zwei Vertriebsprofis betreuen Kunden, unterstützt von zwei Halbtagskräften in der Verwaltung. „Was mir am meisten gefällt, ist das tolle Team und die Gemeinschaft“, betont Franz Hornbacher. Offenheit, flache Hierarchien und eine offene Bürotür zeichnen die Unternehmenskultur aus. Die Kundenstruktur ist besonders geprägt vom öffentlichen Dienst. Daneben spielen der Dienstleistungssektor, das Transportwesen und die Industrie eine wichtige Rolle. Ebenfalls stark vertreten ist der Handel im Allgemeinen. Eine österreichische Besonderheit und zugleich große Herausforderung sind die über 800 Kollektivverträge, die den Markt prägen. 9 ENTDECKEN SIE UNSEREN YOUTUBE KANAL. ISGUS HAS BEEN FIRMLY ROOTED IN VIENNA FOR OVER FOUR DECADES... With eleven employees, the team is small but well positioned: seven technicians provide technical support, two sales professionals look after customers, supported by two part-time administrative staff. “What I appreciate most is the fantastic team as well as the teamwork we practise”, emphasises Franz Hornbacher. Openness, flat hierarchies and an always open office door characterise the corporate culture. The customer structure is particularly influenced by the public sector, with the service sector, transport and industry also playing an important role. Trade in general is also strongly represented. A special feature of Austria and at the same time a major challenge are the more than 800 collective agreements that shape the market.These collective agreements vary greatly and must be fully mapped in time recording. “This makes the work difficult, because it is highly complex”, explains Mr Hornbacher, branch manager in Vienna. This is where our ZEUS® software solution shows its strength: it is highly flexible and scalable, enabling it to cover the wide variety of both collective and company-specific agreements – a clear competitive advantage. Franz Hornbacher embarked on his career at ISGUS in 2001 without any prior knowledge of time recording. “I was looking for a job that sounded exciting – and it still is today“, he says. Since 2008, he has been managing the Vienna branch with great dedication. He particularly appreciates the freedom in how he can organise his work and the trusting customer relationships that the team has built up. The Austrian managing director has clear plans: “As the Austrian market offers real potential, we intend to expand our team to up to 20 employees in the medium to long term.” With this staff reinforcement and the proven product portfolio, he believes the Vienna branch is well positioned to continue growing and meet the demands posed by a dynamic market. At ISGUS, we do not only think across boundaries, but also works across borders, which is why the Vienna branch also manages projects at locations outside Austria. ISGUS Austria supports customers whose systems are networked from Vienna via Hungary, the Czech Republic, and across Europe to China. One milestone that Franz Hornbacher is particularly proud of is the long-term cooperation with one of Austria’s leading industrial companies, that decided to equip its global subsidiaries with ISGUS terminals. This project shows how the Vienna branch is able to set international standards with innovative solutions in combination with long-term customer support. Aufbauend können die Teilnehmenden ihr Wissen in einer Vielzahl von Spezial- und Vertiefungsseminaren gezielt erweitern.
