ZEUS® Staff Scheduling enables organisations to assign employees flexibly to projects, tasks, or locations, optimising workforce utilisation and adapting quickly to changing demands.
With real-time scheduling, managers gain an overview of staffing levels, qualifications, and availability, ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time. Employees benefit from transparency, flexibility, and the ability to view and manage their assignments.
By combining project-oriented scheduling with digital solutions, organisations reduce administrative effort, increase operational efficiency, and improve employee satisfaction. ZEUS® Staff Scheduling supports predictive planning, compliance with labour regulations, and seamless integration with our ZEUS® Time and Attendance and ZEUS® HR Management, creating a fully connected and agile Workforce Management environment.
The detailed staffing display provides the user with information on employees who are scheduled for a particular shift or other shifts, who are not on duty, who are available in the reserve pool or who are on leave. In the event of a sudden shortage of staff, the planner is presented with a list of suggestions, from which he or she can immediately locate and contact substitutes to compensate for the loss of staff.
ZEUS®'s detailed staffing display suggests suitable substitutes so that they can react quickly and correctly in the event of a bottleneck.
The informed employees can accept or reject the offer interactively. The planner can staff the shift transparently for everyone and without further effort in the form of phone calls, queries, etc.
Employees are also at liberty to offer their early, normal or late shifts to all colleagues for swapping, if necessary. Employees who accept the offer are then automatically suggested as a replacement to the planner. The planner then approves or rejects the proposed shift swap, providing justification for their decision.
A notification is then sent to all colleagues in the same planning unit/department for whom the desired shift has been planned on the same day. The colleague for whom the shift swap has been requested will automatically receive a notification and can then agree to the swap via ZEUS® mobile. To do so, they simply need to select "Declare willingness to swap" directly in the notification.
